Mobile storage

Qubiqa offers a complete range of shelving, with everything from static shelving to manually, mechanically or electrically operated mobile storage units. The mobile units run quietly and easily on rails that are installed on or set into the floor. This system permits considerable space savings since it only requires one aisle width to provide access to the entire archive. Add to this a complete range of installation and accessory units, and you have the ultimate storage solution!

Static shelving solution

The illustration above shows a typical static installation. This solution provides maximum access to the archive, although it does not utilise the space to the maximum.

Mobile solution - short mobile storage bays

The illustration above shows a typical installation of a mobile storage solution. It is usual to be able to store 100% more compared to static shelving, in other words the storage area is reduced by 50%.

The illustration above shows a typical installation of a mobile storage solution. The long units provide increased capacity.

Mobile two-Tier solutions

This concept was designed, developed and introduced by Qubiqa in 1997.

This unique design permits maximum utilisation of spaces which have limited height.
The platform between the floors is completely supported by the mobile shelving system. The design of the platform can be limited to 140 mm in height. The capacity can be doubled compared to a traditional compact archive and increased by 400% compared to static shelving.

the group.

Qubiqa Storage Solutions

will merge with Bruynzeel of

Constructor Group. Signing

has taken place and

“Closing” of the merger

agreement is expected to

take place on 16^th January

2013.

The other two business units within Qubiqa A/S, Qubiqa Automation in Esbjerg and Qubiqa Logistics in Arden are not affected by the merger.

Qubiqa Automation and Qubiqa Logistics are in the same type of industry and this will streamline the

overall business concept within Qubiqa A/S and allow

a more goal-oriented focus

and specialisation of the industrial part.

industry. When the merger is finalized, only Qubiqa
Storage Solutions will change the name to Bruynzeel Storage Systems. The departure of Qubiqa Storage Solutions will allow Qubiqa to focus more on the core business of transportation, packaging, warehousing and logistics”
